1st Surgical Week in EAC Mülheim/Ruhr – Day 1 Mastering Knee

At PETERBREHM, we are convinced that continuous learning, scientific exchange and shared clinical expertise are the key to success and drive better patient outcomes. Our anatomy workshops are designed to support surgeons with anatomical precision and technique refinement – bridging theoretical know-how with practical clinical experience. Through interactive, expert-lead lectures tailored to improve decision-making, as well as intensive hands-on-training on human specimens in small groups, we enable surgeons to advance their surgical skills.

Therefore, we implement the 1st Surgical Week which take place at the EAC – European Anatomy Campus in Mülheim, in the very heart of the Ruhr valley (Germany). On March 16, participants from various countries gathered for the „Specimen’s Workshop Total Knee Arthroplasty“. The focus was on treatment options and surgical technique using the BPK-S Integration knee system in primary and revision surgery.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the excellent instructors Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Uwe Maus (Head Physician, Department for Orthopaedics, Medizinische Universität Lausitz – Carl Thiem) and Dr. Katharina Schultz (Senior Physician, Hospital for Orthopaedics and Traumatology Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf) as well as all participants for contributing such a successful workshop. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Anna Kolb and her team from EAC for the great support
